In January 2007 a gospel outreach, sponsored by Lord's Move in Europe, went to Russia. After arriving in Moscow, we were grouped together in Ramenskoye and assigned our destination ... Pyatigorsk ... a 26-hour train ride south near the Caucasus mountains. The people of Russia are open and friendly; the food is interestingly delicious and healthy; the sights intriguing. The visit was capped with a short tour of Kislovodsk, a tourist area near Pyatigorsk known for its mineral water. Our last day was highlighted with a tour of Red Square. We are very greatful that we took this opportunity of an unforgettable, probably a once-in-a-life-time experience.
